The United African American Relief Foundation is a public 501(c) (3) charity located in Rockford, IL.
Our organization is currently working on a co-ed Boys and Girls country youth camp for under-privileged youths.
The camp would be open to youths throughout the state of Illinois. Our goal is to help youths have an opportunity for a
better way of life.
Operation of the youth camp: United African American Relief Foundation Inc would have the responsibility and safety
of all campers. All campers would stay for one week in the summer and would spend weekends during the winter
months. The camp will have paid and volunteer staff at all times. All youth campers would have three adult supervisors
in their dorms at all times. All campers will stay in groups with a supervisor at all times. Campers would have to provide
their own transportation too and from the camp facility. Our charity will help with some transportation cost for campers.
We will strive to make the youth camp one of the best experiences for every camper that has the opportunity to
participate.
Educational programs: Will consist of Reading, Writing, Mathematics, English, Business, Science, Nature
Conservation, Computers, Building Trades, Food Service, College Preparation, Health/Fitness and Values/Ethics
Training. Our camp goal is to teach young men and women on how to be productive and responsible leaders in their
communities.
Recreation activities: Will consist of a full fitness gym, basketball court, open field space for multiple sports use,
go-carts, four- wheelers, Swimming, canoeing, row boating, paddle boats, fishing, arts & crafts and nightly campfires.
